Almost Black

Call me a prude, but doesn't Michael Kinsley (who, as far as I know, is not insulated from criticism by such credentials as being black or Jewish, though perhaps he can get away with calling himself a cripple) go a bit "overboard" in this description of a colorful remark made by a former British ambassador to Washington: "He must think he sounds pretty cool, pretty tough, pretty American, almost black, issuing unveiled threats of violence with a chorus of copulation in the background."

"Almost black?" Don't think you could get away with that in the US. I'm not sure you can get away with it in the UK, either (perhaps a little political incorrectness is expected of their 'colonial contributors'?). Check tomorrow's letters to the editor.

No Shizzle, Sherlock

Soooo, what do we have here? Could it be the President's top campaign strategist admitting that there's no liberal media?
