This is the same kind of silly venting/catharsis that was all over Daily Kos, MyDD, your and my inbox right after the 2004 election. Remember that? Blue states pay most of the taxes and give more to charity while red states with their so-called "values voters" who won Bush the election are awash in pornography, child abuse, and divorce.

Personally I prefer the magnanimity (whether totally sincere or not) that the Democrats displayed after their 2006 midterm triumph. Plus magnanimity is just better politics.
