I'm as much of a fan of Paul Krugman as the next guy, and I'm sure Tyler Cowen knows more about this stuff than I do, but Krugman winning the Nobel Prize in Economics still smells more than a little like a bald-faced political statement to me... or as Cowen charitably calls it, a "real world pick."
