Marty Peretz's Alternate Universe

Marty Peretz refers to Amir Taheri "very reliable." Is this a joke? Taheri is the man who perpetrated the Iran yellow-star hoax and only recently smeared Obama with a lie about Obama trying to delay an Iraq troop withdrawal for naked, partisan political gain. This is reminiscent of Peretz's recent praise for lunatic Islamophobe (and Obamaphobe) Brigitte Gabriel... Marty, if you want to help Obama win, you might consider NOT praising fringe-of-the-fringe smearmongers who are doing everything in their powers to paint the Democratic presidential nominee as an anti-semitic traitor. Just a thought.
