True. For the same reason that these scientists are hopeful that Frist will "rejoin them." Because he's a phony political novice who sways where the wind blows -- and who knows where he'll sway next? (Of course, Frist WILL rejoin them, once he gets his ass kicked by Rick Santorum in the Republican primary in 2008 and stops getting calls from Karl Rove.)
Meanwhile, the vultures are circling -- going to Iraq and conducting "surveys" in an effort to bolster their foreign policy bona fides, prepping for Frist's disappearance in 2006.
